I've never been great at saying the things I need to say in that exact moment. I tend to bottle up my thoughts and emotions and write a song about it later. I started writing and recording music as a teenager. Like many artists it became my escape from the world. I spent my late teens and early twenties writing and working with multiple producers and songwriters in Australia and the US. I learn't so much about myself and the world around me. It gave me wonderful opportunities to work with talented creatives around the world - something I have grown to appreciate more and more as the years go by.
Here you'll find samples from the chapters of my life thus far. Even though it almost always makes me cringe to listen to the teenage version of myself and what she thought were in fact dire problems at the time, I love that I have those moments and feelings captured. It's like listening back to the soundtrack of my own life, which almost always induces laughter, tears, a little sadness and a little happiness - as all great memories should do.
